OUR DESIGNERS

Matthew L. Johnson

Matthew’s belief is rooted in the heart of his work as a skilled craftsman and furniture designer, and each heirloom-quality piece he builds in his one-man shop will last for decades to come.  He is the owner of M.L. Johnson Woodworks in Muscatine and he also enjoys teaching at the Sound Foundation woodworking academy.  He possesses years of experience in furniture design and creation, he also has a Master’s degree in interior architecture and product design from Kansas State University.

 

Peter McGlaughlin

Peter’s training from Cedarville University for Industrial Design has prepared him to be versatile in his way of thinking.  He possesses the knowledge of architecture and product engineering, he is a wiz with technology and can develop any concept to reality.  His first project with Streamline Artisans was the Tangled Wood restaurant in Bettendorf, where he developed the design for over 50 custom furniture and fabrication pieces.
